House of Raleigh Chapter

The members of the House of Raleigh Chapter are a friendly and diverse group of British ladies. Our members have originated from towns as far north as East Kilbride in Scotland to Portsmouth on the south coast of England.
Our homes are now in Raleigh, and so we meet each month to enjoy the companionship of like minded women. Members have made friendships beyond our Tuesday night meetings. You may find someone with like interests, sports or with small children. We welcome you all.
As a group we raise funds to supplement the income of a retirement home in Texas. Mountbatten House is the nearest of six such homes which are owned and supported by the DBE. We also support our local charities. We do this by staging such events as a Wine Tasting Night, English Tea and Fashion show, Garage sales, etc. These occasions result in good fun for a great cause.
We also enjoy our social evenings which involve our families. Bowling, night at the movies, a party on “Guy Fawk’s night”, pub quiz and potlucks are some of the activities to date. We are always looking for new ideas for both fund raising and for our social calendar.
When we meet: First Tuesday of each month, 7pm.
Where: Home of one of our members
How to find out more: Send email to our contact info.
